  • “Truly an amazing product... We decided to try a 1L pouch a few weeks ago based on research pointing to health, superior taste compared to EV olive oil and low smoke with frying. The pouch started disappearing faster and faster - even our kids loved it? Quickly ordered a 6 pack..... Our cooking and raw cuisine styles come from Italian and Filipino/Spanish backgrounds. We can use it almost everywhere. Our tin of EV olive oil is getting lonely. Favourite dish so far is Ceviche or Filipino Kinilaw. Raw fish cubes (yellowtail fingfish, white warehou, salmon or tuna) cured in a mixture of calamansi (or lime) juice (Asian foodstores often sell fresh calamansi), fresh ginger, onion, chili, and seasonings (black pepper, salt and smoked paprika). Stir in avocado oil and let cure in fridge for several hours depending on how much Calamansi/lime juice is added - more juice faster cure - stir every hour to check cure. Not only does the avocado oil impart an attractive taste in itself - but the oil extends the ginger/onion/chili/smoked paprika taste complexities through solvency in the oil. Finally - the oil improves the mouth-feel/texture on less oily fish species. Even an egg fried in avocado oil becomes a treat. Fantastic product - so much more than a cooking oil - not cheap - but well worth it. To...The AvoKeepers Thank you so much ... .”
