Hi and welcome to The Avo Keeper. We’re Avocado Orchardists, located directly west of Matakana, at the bottom of the Kaipara Harbour. Here’s our story.
Avocados are highly nutritious, with over 70% monounsaturated fats, perfect for the best edible oil, supporting cardiovascular function, and improving cholesterol levels. They are also high in vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties. We are a single-source oil, taking great pride to bring you the best.
I’m Anna, and I’m a bit of a foodie, so my joy is seeing great ways avocado oil enhances a healthy meal. It gives me great pleasure knowing that we’re not wasting a drop. That fruit that was not visually good enough to go to market, that would otherwise go to waste, has found a home in our keepsake bottles or refillable pouches. A rich, creamy, and nutrient-dense oil used for salads, sautéing, baking, and frying, it can withstand high heat but is also great for the heart. We recommend slopping it around on most things. And that’s why you will find it in a beautiful bottle made for keeping. The Avo Keeper wants to do its bit for the planet, so we’re using a refillable pouch to keep topping it up.
