This silky-smooth dessert is completely dairy-free and made with heart-healthy The Avo Keeper avocado oil, nutrient-dense eggs, and antioxidant-rich 70% dark chocolate.

Avocado Oil
Avocado oil is packed with monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) known to support heart health. It’s smooth, neutral in flavour, and perfect for both sweet and savoury dishes.

70% Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate (70% or higher) is loaded with antioxidants, minerals like iron and magnesium, and may help reduce the risk of high blood pressure and heart disease.

Eggs are nature’s multivitamin—rich in B12, omega-3s, selenium, and more. They give the mousse its structure and satisfying richness.
The Recipe
Dairy-Free Chocolate Mousse with The Avo Keeper
Ingredients:
140g of 70% dark chocolate
125ml of The Avo Keeper avocado oil
4 eggs, separated, at room temperature
100g of sugar (or honey as an alternative)
A pinch of salt
(Optional: 20ml of Cointreau for added depth)
Method:
Melt the Chocolate
Gently melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Remove from heat and stir in the avocado oil. Allow to cool completely.Whip the Yolks
In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks with half the sugar until pale and fluffy. Fold in the cooled chocolate mixture. (Optional: Add Cointreau here.)Whip the Whites
Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Slowly add the remaining sugar while continuing to whip until glossy.Combine Gently
Gently fold a spoonful of egg whites into the chocolate mixture to loosen. Then carefully fold in the rest until just combined.Chill and Serve
Spoon into serving glasses or ramekins and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Serve chilled.
